Jessica Soueidi will be talking about her experience with NFTs, what they are, how they work and the basics on how to mint your digital assets.
Why is this important to us? NFTs or “Non-Fungible Tokens” can among other things represent any form of art and are giving content creators more power than ever. In this webinar, Jessica will walk us through the basics of cryptocurrencies, blockchain and NFTs, that we need to know to delve into this exciting new world.
This new way of dealing with our assets and art is, as she sees it, a unique opportunity for artists to connect directly with their clients and to create a more inclusive art world of the future. She hopes she can help more women artists enter this new digital space by sharing the resources she has.
ABOUT JESSICA SOUEIDI
Jessica Soueidi is a French/Lebanese visual artist, entrepreneur and Art/NFT collector based in Helsinki. In 2015, she graduated with a Master's Degree in Fine Arts from the HEAR Strasbourg. Later, Jessica obtained a double Master's degree in Cultural Management from ESCP Europe Business School and Ca'Foscari University.
Before starting her startup Art From Future, Jessica Soueidi worked for several art companies and museums including Le Gallerie dell'Accademia in Venice, L'Officiel des galeries et Musées in Paris and Taiko in Finland.
She also worked as a visual artist for 3 years, and was invited to participate in several group shows and renowned artist residencies internationally including in China (The Swatch Art Peace Hotel), France, Singapore and the UK.
In March 2021, Jessica launched Art From Future with the mission to gather the most exciting young artists of our generation on a single platform and help them monetize their careers by connecting with NextGen art collectors. Not only does Art From Future provide artists with a marketplace to sell their art and/or NFTs to a global community of art lovers, but it's also the first artist accelerator developing services and tools to help artists build their personal brands online and grow their fanbase.
